Offers - Is your Lovable app really secure?

€1,200 excl. VAT · 3 business days · Fixed price, paid on order · Businesses only

You built your app with Lovable, Bolt or another AI tool. It works, real users sign up and leave their data in it. But an app that works is not necessarily an app that is protected. We check whether a stranger can see your users' data, and we explain in plain language what to fix.

This is for you if…

  • •You built your app with Lovable, Bolt or a similar tool, without being a developer
  • •Your app uses Supabase to store its data (as most Lovable apps do)
  • •You have real users: emails, profiles, messages, payments…
  • •You have heard about security flaws in AI-built apps and wonder whether yours is affected
  • •You are preparing a launch, a fundraising round or the arrival of a major customer

Why it is a real issue

AI tools let you build an app very quickly. Data protection, on the other hand, depends on how the database (often Supabase) is configured, and that configuration remains the app creator's responsibility. Some cases have been made public:

  • •In 2025, a security researcher reported Lovable-built apps whose data could be read without signing in, because no access rules were enabled in Supabase (report CVE-2025-48757, whose classification Lovable disputes)
  • •In February 2026, The Register reported on a Lovable-built app that exposed the data of several thousand users because of missing access rules
  • •Lovable offers a security scan before publishing and states that applying the fixes is up to the app creator. A human review comes on top of that

If your app processes personal data (name, email, phone…) of people in the EU, the GDPR applies, including data security and breach notification to the data protection authority (the CNIL in France). For your exact obligations, see cnil.fr or your legal advisor: our audit is technical and is not legal advice.

What we check

We focus on the vulnerabilities we find most often in AI-built apps:

  • •The rules that stop one user from seeing other users' data (in Supabase, these are called “RLS”). We check that they exist on every table, including the ones added along the way, and above all that they actually block access
  • •Secret keys visible in the browser. Some keys (such as the Supabase “service_role” key) give access to the entire database: they must never end up in your app's code
  • •Protections that only exist on screen. Hiding an “Admin” button is not enough: if the check is not done server-side (on the server, the part of the app the user does not see), anyone can bypass the screen
  • •User sign-in: sign-up, password reset, access to admin accounts
  • •Files uploaded by your users (photos, documents): can everyone see them?
  • •Keys for external services (Stripe, email sending, AI…): are they properly hidden?

How it works

  1. Step 1

    A 30-minute call

You show us your app. We check that it fits the scope of the audit and explain what we will need.

  2. Step 2

    You give us access

Read-only access to your project (GitHub and Supabase). We guide you step by step, even if you have never heard of them.

  3. Step 3

    We look for vulnerabilities

For 3 business days, we check who can see what in your app, the way an attacker would, but without breaking or changing anything.

  4. Step 4

    We walk you through it

You receive a written report in plain language and we go over it together for 1 hour: what is serious, what is less so, and what to do.

What you get (€1,200 excl. VAT)

  • •A written report in plain language, no jargon: each vulnerability explained with what it would actually let someone do
  • •Vulnerabilities ranked by urgency: fix now, fix soon, or keep an eye on
  • •How to fix each vulnerability, with instructions you can give Lovable yourself
  • •A fixed price for the fixes, if you would rather we handle them
  • •A 1-hour call to explain everything and answer your questions

Options

After the audit, you choose: fix things yourself with our instructions, or have us do the fixes. Everything is priced before we start:

Let's be honest: what the audit does not do

An audit helps reduce risk, but it does not work miracles. Here is what you should know before ordering:

  • •No one can guarantee an app is 100% secure. We check for the most common and most serious vulnerabilities, not every conceivable attack
  • •The audit is a snapshot in time. Every new change made with Lovable can reintroduce a vulnerability, for example a new table without access rules
  • •We run no destructive attacks and we change nothing in your app during the audit
  • •The audit is neither legal advice nor a certification (GDPR or ISO 27001)
  • •If your app does not use Supabase (some Base44 apps, for example), we tell you during the call whether the audit is possible

We practice application security in real conditions: among other things, we supported Synaps in implementing and passing ISO 27001 on their front-end projects.

What we need to get started

  • •Your app online and working
  • •Your project connected to GitHub (we show you how from Lovable)
  • •Read-only access to your Supabase project (we guide you)
  • •Your written authorization to test your app: this is required before any vulnerability testing
  • •If needed, an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) signed before any access

Next step, a mobile app?

Many creators then want to put their app on the App Store and Google Play. A secure app is a solid starting point. If you then hire us to turn your Lovable app into an iPhone and Android app (from €8,500 excl. VAT), the €1,200 excl. VAT audit fee is deducted from the final price if you confirm within 30 days.

Frequently asked questions

Is my Lovable app secure?
Not necessarily: a Lovable app can work perfectly well while letting anyone read its users’ data. The most common case is Supabase access rules (RLS) that are missing or misconfigured. GUIGUI Tech offers a security audit for Lovable apps at €1,200 excl. VAT, in 3 business days, to check this and tell you what to fix.
What is RLS in Supabase and why does it matter for a Lovable app?
RLS (Row Level Security) is the set of rules that prevents a user from seeing or changing other users’ data in a Supabase database. Without these rules, anyone can read a Lovable app’s tables using the public key present in the browser. GUIGUI Tech’s security audit (€1,200 excl. VAT) checks that every table has them and that they actually block access.
How much does a security audit for a Lovable app cost?
A security audit of a Lovable or Supabase app by GUIGUI Tech costs €1,200 excl. VAT, fixed price, delivered in 3 business days. It includes a plain-language report, vulnerabilities ranked by urgency with their fix, a fixed price for the fixes if you prefer to hand them over to us, and a one-hour walkthrough call.
How long does a Lovable app security audit take?
A Lovable app security audit by GUIGUI Tech takes 3 business days from the moment you give us access to your GitHub and Supabase project. The report is then presented to you during a one-hour call.
Do I need to know how to code to have my Lovable app’s security audited?
No. GUIGUI Tech’s security audit (€1,200 excl. VAT, 3 days) is designed for Lovable app creators with no technical skills: we guide you through granting access, and the report explains each vulnerability in plain language, with instructions you can give directly to Lovable.
Can GUIGUI Tech fix the security vulnerabilities in my Lovable app?
Yes. After the security audit (€1,200 excl. VAT), GUIGUI Tech gives you a fixed price to fix the vulnerabilities found. You can also fix them yourself using the report’s instructions, then request a re-check (€350 excl. VAT, 1 day).
Why have my Lovable app’s security audited?
Because data protection in a Lovable app depends on how its Supabase database is configured, which remains the app creator’s responsibility. Vulnerabilities of this kind were made public in 2025 and 2026. If the app processes personal data, the GDPR applies: for your specific obligations, see cnil.fr or consult your advisor. GUIGUI Tech’s security audit (€1,200 excl. VAT) is technical: it finds the vulnerabilities and explains how to fix them.
Is Lovable’s security scan enough to protect my app?
Lovable’s security scan is a good first level, but it is up to the app creator to apply the fixes it suggests. A human audit complements it: it checks concretely that the access rules really protect the data. That is what GUIGUI Tech’s security audit (€1,200 excl. VAT, 3 days) does, vulnerability by vulnerability.
Can a Bolt or Base44 app’s security be audited?
Yes for Bolt apps connected to Supabase, which carry the same risks as a Lovable app. For Base44 or another tool, GUIGUI Tech tells you during the free 30-minute call whether the security audit (€1,200 excl. VAT, 3 days) is possible for your app.
How does payment work for the security audit?
GUIGUI Tech’s Lovable app security audit (€1,200 excl. VAT) is paid in full upfront. Invoices are issued by our company, a French SAS. An NDA (non-disclosure agreement) can be signed before any access to your app. If you then hand GUIGUI Tech the transformation of your Lovable app into a mobile app (from €8,500 excl. VAT), the €1,200 excl. VAT is deducted from that transformation if you confirm within 30 days.
